KAGANDO Hospital is a not-for-profit mission hospital established in 1965, serving a population of about 400,000 people in the districts of Kasese, Rubirizi, and the Rwenzori region up to eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The hospital has an active license by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council with license No. 14251 and liaises with the District Health Officer of Kasese District.
Kagando Hospital seeks to provide affordable health care to the populations and hosts a community health scheme where communities can make small upfront payments to receive healthcare from the hospital.
