KISIIZI is a non-for-profit mission hospital established in 1958 serving a population of about
300,000 people in Southwest Uganda. The hospital is licensed by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council and liaises with the District Health Officer of Rukungiri.
KISIIZI seeks to provide quality and affordable health care to the populations and hosts a community health scheme.
KISIIZI hosts a community health scheme that serve groups in the regions of districts of Rukungiri, Kabale, Ntugamo, Kanungu and Rukiga.
With premiums of only Ugx 2000 (USD 0.5) monthly, rural communities can now access health care from hospitals in their communities. The insured are healthier, their finances too.
